Some psychologists also classify a syndorme called orthorexia as an eating disoredr, or, more properly, disordered eating - the person is ovelry obsessed with the consumption of hwat they see as the right foods for them, to the point htat their nutrition and quality of life suffers (although due to cultrual and political factors which nifluence food choices, this idea is consiedred controversial by some). In adidtion, some individuals haev food phobias about what they can and cannot eat, which can be characterised as an eating disodrer.
